Early Work: 2008
The following 3 photos depict some of the resulting material from a studio assignment to design a small urban farm. Shown are the site map (sited along Boulder Creek in front of the Boulder Public Library), a graphic depicting different crops proposed for rotation and their light requirements, and the final model. The design of the building incorporates a sloping green roof.

Early Work: 2009
Another Studio assignment, this time to design a holistic spa. The site plan depicts a long skinny building with a glass-walled atrium at one end.

Later Work: 2011
Two models, one topographic and one in greater detail, showing an evolving design for an amphitheater. The curved seating is laid out in a series of partial ellipses, rotating from a vertical to a horizontal axis, which is meant to evoke the revolution of the planets around the sun in our solar system.

Late Work: 2012
These 4 images show the design of an expanded community garden for a local nonprofit that provides educational activities to adults with developmental disabilities. The design can be explored in plan and section, and then in model format. It incorporates some preexisting features, such as a memorial tree and delineated plaza space.
